Igor Sordokhonov

I’m a Bouriate Muscovite with a love for jazz (and Raster-Noton), pasta, travel, and cats.

In 2004, my best friend and I dreamt of starting a studio fusing love, passion, design and motion for internal explorations and ambitious organisations.

And 15 years later, we cofounded Media.Work – a design-driven production company for motion graphics services that today powers product and brand experiences for Amazon, Samsung, Gazprom Neft, Vimeo, Adobe, Hypebeast, Under Armour, Nokia, Ford, MTV, and  LG Signature.

Recently, we developed art films for Hamilton Watch, AdidasJimmy Choo and Native Instruments.

I’m especially proud of our expertise film, which summarizes our blood, sweat, and tears.

In the past year of running Media.Work, I was a creative director, designer, strategist, producer, salesman, IT, editor, and HR rep.

Additionally, I contribute as an author for Motionographer – the industry-leading website.

Our Company’s work was featured in Hermitage Museum, Lincoln Center, Times Square, MIT, Art Basel, Wired, Reuters, Spiegel, Hypebeast, Colossal, WePresent, Creative Review, and Adobe.

In the past two decades, I worked at NTV, Da Studio, Trehmer, Film Direction FX, Shandesign, MuzTv, and MTV.

NTV has ranked among the top three television channels in Russia for more than 20 years. Oriented at a diverse audience over the age of 18. NTV’s broadcast reaches 99.2 percent of the country's population. I was a  Chief Creative Officer responsible for all visual communications.

Prior to that, I originated Luminescene.com in 2005. One of the most notable design portals of its time, it served to inspire the design community.
